Opportunities

C.A.F.E. is run by volunteers. All elected officials, family members, and school staff donate their time to support activities that benefit the children and families of Church Street School.

Please consider becoming a volunteer, the more we are, the more we can achieve! There are many ways in which you can help. There is a place for all of you. No experience is needed, we will help you get set up. We are looking to find volunteers for the areas described below.

Committees

• Membership: Help with member recruitment, spread the word about C.A.F.E. and what we do.

• Fundraising: Contribute to organization of activities or events focused on raising money for enrichment activities at Church Street School.

• Website: Keep the C.A.F.E. website updated or contribute with website content.

• Social media: Spread the word about C.A.F.E. through different social media outlets.

• Special events: Contribute to the organization of one of the major C.A.F.E. events (e.g.Fall Festival).

Event support

• Volunteers are needed for every event. Look at the calendar of events and let us know your availability.

After-school club leaders

• We would love to get some after-school clubs going at Church Street School. In-person or virtual. Please contact us if you have any ideas or would like to lead one.
